PROFILE

TISCHLEREI MAUS is a Berlin-based studio for bespoke interiors and furniture. Founded in 2026 by master carpenter Ole Maus, the studio combines contemporary design with precise craftsmanship and a deep respect for material.

Working from his workshop in Berlin-Lichtenberg, Ole Maus develops furniture and interior solutions defined by clarity, proportion and refined detailing. Each piece is conceived with a strong awareness of material character and structural integrity. Carefully selected solid woods, fine veneers and traditional joinery techniques form the foundation of his work, complemented by modern production methods where appropriate.

The studio’s approach is rooted in craftsmanship while remaining open to architectural and conceptual dialogue. Every project responds thoughtfully to its spatial and architectural context. Material, space and function are considered as a coherent whole, resulting in interiors that feel balanced, enduring and purposeful.

Collaborating with architects, interior designers and private clients, TISCHLEREI MAUS realises individually conceived furniture, custom-built elements and exclusive interior fit-outs. From initial concept to final installation, each project is executed with precision, transparency and a commitment to lasting quality.

The studio values honest materials, careful detailing and solutions that reveal their construction rather than conceal it. The result is work that is understated yet distinctive, crafted to age well and to remain relevant beyond trends.
